It's February - it's been relatively quiet, as we all still recover from those January blues.

We've been redecorating some areas of the pub to make the place a little brighter - our garden bar has had a fresh coat of paint, and we even decorated the walls with some blue anchors! By the time the shelves got repainted too, the whole bar was looking brand new. We are so chuffed. The garden bar has been open more frequently as we begin to have more events on. We had a wonderful live performance from Tori Chilcott on Valentine's Day - it was lovely to see people up and dancing together. Later on in the month, we also had live music from Guy Rosewall, and even Helston Town Band! The band acted as a welcome act at our invite-only 'red carpet event' on the last Saturday of the month, where we showed a screening of our Christmas Variety Show from 2025. It was a fantastic night, and we hope everyone had a great night.

Out in the brewery, our head brewer Ben has been busy brewing up the latest batch of Spingo Middle - did you know one brew is only around 600 litres? So when we say we're a small scale brewery (and a small business!) we mean it! On the 'small business' note, we'd just like to say a very big thank you to everyone who has supported the pub recently - whether you've purchased Spingo online, or popped into the pub for a pint, you are helping keep the pub alive and well.
