We can accommodate any type of function in either The Blue Anchor, or Out of the Blue, our sister pub in Porthleven. When catering, our service is friendly and very flexible, while always being efficient and happy to help.​ Using only fresh, local produce we can cater for all your needs, whether it be nibbles & canapes to a full three-course meal.​ Our friendly, chatty staff are pleased to combine high quality with a more relaxed atmosphere.​ Nothing is ever too much trouble!​

Did you know that if you're planning a wedding, birthday, wake or simply a good old fashioned party celebration, it's (almost) illegal not to have a bar, and Spingo bars are the best to have!​​ If you do want a bar then we have the perfect answer; a well-presented, traditional type bar, staff with a friendly smile, and prices akin to any decent pub!​ Our bars are exactly as the ones pictured, we can set up more or less anywhere- a wedding marquee or wedding venue, in the middle of a field, a private garden or a village hall.

The bar is fully stocked with a range of chilled draught products, chilled bottled beers, a good selection of wines, plus soft drinks, mixers, fruit juice, a wide array of spirits and of course Spingo!​ Depending on the event, we can set up a couple of days before, or on the day. The bar can be open as early in the day as you wish. We are happy to deal with the local authority for the Event License, and we hold all the essential insurances and certifications.​
