Helstonbury is an event close to the people of Helstons' hearts - celebrating local talent and supporting local artists, in the aid of local charities supporting young people who are homeless, or in need of support.

 

Established in 2001 by Paul Turton who initially wanted it to be a one-night gig to raise money for a young lady who needed funds for her wheelchair., Helstonbury is hosted at The Blue Anchor Inn, and the event has raised over £100,000 for local people & causes. It is held every year on the 3rd weekend of July, from the Thursday - Sunday and features a huge variety of the best known local bands on the Cornish music scene.
